The Vancouver Goalball Club is excited to announce the 4th annual Vancouver Goalball Grand Slam tournament from March 8 – 10, 2019 in Surrey, BC at Guildford Recreation Centre. Accommodations are at the Sheraton Vancouver Guildford Hotel, within walking distance from the tournament venue.

We are thrilled by the long-overdue announcement that this year’s tournament will include a Women’s division in addition to the Men’s. There will be prize money for the top three teams in the amount of $5,000, $2,000 and $1,000 for first, second, and third place of each division. Additionally, $250 will be awarded to the Best Offensive Player and the Best Defensive Player in each division.

The deadline to submit your first-entry form is January 31, 2019. Teams will be admitted on a first-come-first-serve basis. We will accept the first 10 men’s and 6 women’s teams who have paid in full and submitted all necessary registration forms.

Any IBSA Certified referees who find their own way to Vancouver will be given free accommodations, transportation, and meals throughout the tournament. For more information, see the Information Package and First Entry Form.
